Exhibiting Rules and Regulations

For Gym Entries Only

  • Exhibits must be registered between 4 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 27. Flower show entries may also be entered from 8 – 9 a.m., Wednesday, August 28. Educational Exhibits areentered from 9 – 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 28 or brought by the Extension office by Monday, August 26.
  • All exhibits must be recorded and tagged by fair workers before leaving the entry area.
  • Each exhibitor is permitted ONE entry per class. Exhibits cannot be exhibited a miscellaneous or other if there is a definite category listed.
  • Exhibits must have been made by the individual exhibiting them.
  • Exhibits must have been made and completed during the last twenty-four months. Quilts and comforters are the exception. These must be no older than 4 years in construction and not entered in a prior year.
  • ALL departments are open to any adult or youth.
  • Exhibits MUST remain in place until 9 p.m. Saturday, August 31.
  • Prize money will be distributed in the following locations: Hunter-Fisherman trophy exhibit area and tables in the elementary school gym for all other gym entries.
  • Prize money may be picked up at 9 p.m. on Saturday of fair week in the gym. Any prize money NOT picked up by 10 p.m. will be returned to the general fund. Exhibitors must be responsible for their entries at the close of show! Items may be destroyed if left.
  • ALL committees will exercise all care, but cannot be liable or responsible for loss, theft, or casualty to exhibits entered in the show.
  • The decision of the judge(s) is final! Awards vary per class.
  • The public WILL NOT be allowed in the hall or gym during judging Wednesday of fair week.
  • Exhibits are open for public viewing beginning 7 p.m. Wednesday of fair week—AFTER THE PARADE.
