Friday, August 29th 7:00pm at the Grandstand
$10-15 registration fee at event – Cash only
$150 Top Prize!
Conotests include: Jack & Jill, W Underhand, Hotsaw, Standing, W Standing, 2 Man, Underhand, Ax Throw, 140cc

Open Hotsaw will be run on large diameter wood (15 inch or bigger)
140cc will be run on a max of 12 inch wood and can not exceed 140cc in displacement
Chopping events are open to anyone with chopping experience and proper protection
Throwing axes must be double bit with a handle 24 inch long or longer
2 NEW NOVICE CLASSES for the Lumberjack Competition!
– Stock Saw Axe & Hatchet Throw
– Stock Saw contestants must be 18+
– Safety gear will be provided: chaps, eye protection, and ear protection
– Stock Saw WILL BE PROVIDED
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive payouts and custom-made trophies

Cayden is a 21-year old student attending WVU who is pursuing his passion for music by playing for places all over West Virginia.
He is from Pendleton County, West Virignia but graduated from Highland High School in 2022 and is excited to make his return to the Highland County Fair
